Joko sinulla on oma Kankaankutojan muistikirja? Luotujen loimien ja kudottujen kankaiden tiedot on hyvä kirjoittaa muistiin. Loimen pituudet ja painot unohtuvat helposti, samoin kankaiden tiheydet ja valmiit leveydet, jos niitä ei kirjoita itselleen talteen jonnekin. Näitä tietoja voi kuitenkin hyödyntää vuosienkin päästä uusia kankaita, mattoja tai vaikka pyyhkeitä suunnitellessa.
Minkälaiseen vihkoon sinä olet kudonnaistesi tiedot kirjannut? Jos ei vielä ole minkäänlaista muistikirjaa, voit ladata sellaisen itsellesi maksutta tästä. Suunnittelin ja kokosin Kankaankutojan muistikirjan iloksi ja hyödyksi meille kaikille kankaankudonnasta innostuneille 😊
Oman kankaankutojan muistikirjani sidoin kirjaseksi. Minusta on mukavampi käännellä tällaisia sidottuja sivuja kuin kansiossa olevia papereita. Sinäkin voit tehdä itsellesi sidotun muistikirjan helposti. Tarvitset tulostettujen sivujen lisäksi ainoastaan:
- liimaa
- puuvillakankaasta revittyä 3-4 cm leveää nauhaa (vanha lakana on hyvää materiaalia)
- teräväkärkisen neulan (keskikokoinen, että kirjontalanka mahtuu silmästä)
- lankaa (ompelulankaa paksumpaa esim. kirjontalanka)
- (pikkuisia puristimia tai pyykkipoikia)
Revi lakanasta 3-4 cm levää nauhaa. Nauhan pituus valmiina tulee olemaan sivun korkeus + 3cm kääntövaraa. Kokoa muistikirjan sivut nipuksi oikeaan järjestykseen niin, että päällimmäisenä on etukansi ja alimmaisena takakansi. Tee sivuista pareja siten, että otat nipun päällimmäisen paperin ja liimaat sen aukeamaksi nipun alimmaisen paperin kanssa (katso kuva yläpuolella). Huomaa, että aukeamat näyttävät vielä hiukan omituisilta, sillä nämä eivät ole muistikirjan lopullisia aukeamia. Toista tätä niin kauan, että kaikki sivut on liimattu muistikirjan aukeamiksi.
Kokoa liimatut aukeamat oikeaan sivujärjestykseen toistensa päälle. Alimmaisena nipussa on muistikirjan kannet, kansikuva pöytää vasten ja päällimmäisenä nipussa on muistikirjan keskiaukeama. "Lukitse" nippu paikoilleen pienten puristimien tai pyykkipoikien avulla. Puristimien tarkoitus on pitää sivut paikoillaan ompelemisen ajan.
Ompele kirjan sivut yhteen keskeltä kangassuikaletta kirjontalangalla noin 3-4 cm pistoin. Päättele lanka. Oma Kankaankutojan muistikirjasi on valmis käyttöön 🧡
